St Pauls Glais homepage
St Paul's church comprises Nave and Chancel in a single cell arrangement. The entrance porch is on the South West, a former Vestry (a later addition) to the North East now houses two toilets, the boiler room is located in an undercroft to the West. The church provides a multipurpose space used by a variety of groups, the Nave is without fixed pews and instead uses loose seating. A sliding partition can be used to divide the Nave into two areas, adding to the flexibility of the space. The North West corner of the Nave has been partitioned to create a small kitchen with servery hatch. A former attached church hall was located to the North, this was demolished around 30 years ago and the church was re-ordered and restored. A flank wall of the hall containing the entrance archway remains attached to the NW corner of the church. The church is not listed.

Some images from St Pauls can be seen in the gallery to the left - just click on the large arrows to navigate through them. If you have any images that you would like to share with us that can be included here then please contact our Ministry Area Administrator.
Any historical images would be particularly welcomed and useful in documenting the history of St Pauls.
As can be seen in the interactive aerial map below St Pauls is located adjacent to Glais Primary school. Considerable efforts are being made within the community to make more use of the facilities offered by St Pauls. We are actively encouraging the formation of local youth group events and mother and toddler sessions for example within the large hall. If you have any ideas or are looking for a venue to stage any particular "event" then please get in touch with our Ministry Area Administrator who will be more than happy to discuss your proposal. We are working on establishing a "Calendar View" of all events scheduled within St Pauls where you will be able to check availability by date for your proposal.(this is for the hall - there will be a separate calendar view for church services etc) This will be made available from the drop down menu "Bookings" where each church is listed separately.
